How to Use Safe Cleaning Product Odofree

Odofree™ is a natural cleaning products and can be used in any situation you would normally have used the harsh chemicals.

Pest Control

Using Odofree™ is the perfect way to help reduce pests.  A small amount of Odofree™ solution is all it takes to reduce the odors that attract common kitchen pests.  Since Odofree™ is all natural, and has no harsh chemicals or strong odors, it is safe to use in a Food Service setting.

You can spray Odofree™ in areas where pests are a problem since its disinfectant cleaners prevent odor, which attracts flies and other vectors. Similarly, Odofree™ will prevent putrefaction, which will, in time, eliminate the food source for ants, roaches, rats, and mice. These pests leave scent trails, through access point (crawl spaces, utility access both overhead, below and through walls) to return upon, and for others to follow. Periodically spraying these areas with Odofree™ eliminates insect and rodent scent trails.

The Hood, Behind, and Underneath The Line

There are a couple of easy ways to apply a solution of Odofree™ to these areas during breakdown:

• Use a pump sprayer and spray in a fine mist each time you breakdown or cleaning.
• Use a spray bottle and spray the solution directly on the surface at the end of each shift. Within a short time, the grease will be eaten off the wall and you will only need to polish the surface. A Great Time Saver!

To increase the benefits of the Odofree™ applications, it is recommended to use ecological cleaning product Odofree™ in place of any synthetic soaps, de-greasers, and cleaners.

Fire Prevention

Odofree™ can also help prevent the fire hazards that normally occur in a commercial kitchen.  Using a solution of Odofree™ during the nightly cleaning of the line and the firewall will greatly reduce the risk of grease fires. The in Odofree™ literally eats the grease off the walls, the stoves, and the hood.

Using Odofree™ during the nightly wash down (breakdown) on the line and the firewall behind is great for fire preventive. The all natural biological enzymes in natural disinfectant Odofree™ eats the grease on the walls, the stoves, and the hood and gets rid of the fire hazard. No grease, no odor, no pests, and a safer kitchen! 

Floor Disinfectant (Tile, Stone, and Wood)

In restaurants applications where heavy grease buildup normally leaves the kitchen floor slippery and unsafe, just a small amount of Odofree™ in the mop bucket will cut right through the build-up, leaving your floor clean and shiny. The difference is amazing! Instead of using harmful floor care products, use Odofree™ to get rid of slippery surface.

Add a combination of water and Odofree™ to the mop bucket. You won't need any soap, bleach, or grease cutter any more. The floor will not have that haze of grease. This will be great because it will prevent the slick slipping hazard that is almost impossible to remove with normal cleaners.

Carpet Cleaner

Use a sprayer and spray a solution of water and Odofree™ onto the carpet after each dining time. Since carpets harbor odors, this will help to stop the odor, build up of grease, and stop matting of the carpet fibers. This will leave the room smelling and looking fresh every day.

When steam cleaning the carpets, add a cup of Odofree™ for each full reservoir of water.

Natural Deodorizer (Smoke, Food, Grease, etc) in Restaurants

Regular use of Odofree™ inside the restaurant will stop odors in the sewer or septic lines that hover around the manholes that your customers walk by on their way into your restaurant.

Spraying the dining area (the front of the house) with a mixture of Odofree™ and water will keep grease down on the carpeted areas and eat any odors from dirt, spilled alcohol, and smoke.

Natural Cleaning for Safety Mats

Most commercial kitchens have safety mats in the food prep areas. The mats are made of rubber and are meant to help prevent kitchen workers from slipping. Over time, the mats accumulate grease, which makes them slippery to walk on and therefore dangerous for the employees. Heavy chemical degreasers simply push the grease around without eliminating it completely.

All natural Odofree™ uses enzymes which eliminate the grease completely, leaving the mats completely clean. All kitchen mats should be washed with a solution of Odofree™ as part of your normal cleaning routine. This eliminates any odors trapped in the mats and removes all the grease that accumulates, leaving the mats safe, clean and fresh and non-slippery.

Use Odofree™ in Air Conditioners and Coolers

Natural cleaning product Odofree™ can be put into an evaporative cooler or in Smoke-Eating filters to get rid of the smells in the air. Odofree™ in air conditioner and "swamp cooler" keeps the components and filters clean and running efficiently. This can be done by using a simple siphon unit connected to a container of Odofree™.

Toilet Deodorizer

One of the most unpleasant places to clean is a commercial bathroom. There are lingering smells, grease tracked in on shoes, missed urinals and drain back-gassing, in addition to dangerous germs and bacteria. Cleaning the bathrooms with an Odofree™ solution will get rid of all smells of urine and drain back gassing.

Begin by spraying a light mist of Odofree™ solution into the air, close the door and wait for a few moments. The active enzymes in Odofree™ will begin to eat the unpleasant odors from the air, which will make the task much more pleasant.
